Bird and Nest Card with CTMH Harmony and Olivia

Have you ever purchased a stamp set that you really LOVE and then not get around to using it for a YEAR? This beautiful stamp called "Harmony" was featured in the Fall 2010 CTMH Idea Book and I just fell in love with the botanical possibilities of this little bird and nest but for some reason I just never got around to using it until I saw this week's CASE Study challenge. I feel so much better now that this stamp set has been used - LOL!
I used Cocoa embossing powder for the branch, nest and bird and then colored in with my Blending Pen using the top of my ink pad. Here is a close up of the focal image.
If you'd like to make this card, get these supplies:
Paper: Olivia Level 2, Smokey Plum Cardstock
Stamps: Harmony
Ink: Desert Sand, Honey, Sunset, Smokey Plum, Versamark
Other: Cocoa Embossing Powder, Piercing Tool, Licorice Opaques, Blending Pen, Orange Satin Ribbon (Michael's Crafts)

Debbie -

LOL - so far this week I've used two stamps that haven't seen ink since purchase a year ago. Thank goodness for challenges to get us to use our stuff!
